Description: The nonprofit Visionando Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of a research grant for undergraduate students in Basic or Environmental Sciences. This grant aims to support the study and application of nanotechnology to the coastal ecosystem of the Dominican Republic, promoting research and protection of our rich marine and coastal biodiversity.
Eligibility:
1. Full-time student or recent graduate in basic or environmental science.
2. Dominican citizenship or legal residence.
3. Not having already been a recipient of a Visionando Foundation scholarship.
4. Have 10 hours per week available to participate in the research project on characterization of coastal resources in the Dominican Republic.
Required documents:
1. Application form duly completed.
2. Official transcript of the university.
3. Curriculum vitae.
4. Academic letter of recommendation.
5. Copy of identity card or ID card.
Benefits of the scholarship:
1. Funding for the completion of the research project is $3,500 per year.
2Consulting and mentoring by experts in the field of nanotechnology.
3. Opportunities to publish results in scientific journals.
4. Participation in seminars and workshops on the topic of scholarship.
Selection process:
1. Documents review.
2. Interview with selected candidates.
3. Beneficiary announcement in late October.
